Refund Policy

1. Free Tier
The core SQLab Hub platform โ including the SQL editor, sandbox engine, challenges, query history, and gamification system โ is completely free. No payment is required to access these features.
2. Premium Subscription
The Premium plan is a paid subscription (billed monthly or annually) that unlocks additional features. Premium is processed securely through Razorpay.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle
- Access to Premium features begins immediately upon successful payment
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
3. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- 7-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with Premium, request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.
- Technical failure: If you were charged but did not receive Premium access due to a technical error, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of the time elapsed.
- Duplicate charges: Accidental duplicate payments will always be refunded in full.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Requests made more than 7 days after the initial purchase (unless a technical issue is involved)
- Renewal charges if the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal date
- Partial months of an annual subscription
- Accounts suspended for violations of our Terms & Conditions
- Change of mind after the 7-day window
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at:
Include: reason for refund, order ID or payment reference (from Razorpay receipt)
We will process eligible refunds within 5โ7 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time. After cancellation:
- You retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged at the next renewal date
- Your account reverts to the free tier automatically
- Your data (query history, saved queries, XP) is preserved
