Terms & Conditions

These Terms are an agreement between you and Rahul Kumar, the individual who operates SQLab Hub (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using any part of the service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and accept these Terms in full.

SQLab Hub is a website for learning and practising SQL. It includes:

• SQL lessons, articles and interview questions
• A SQL Playground that runs read-only queries on a SQLite practice database of generated sample data
• Practice challenges, projects and timed skill tests with certificates of completion
• Saved queries, query history, and points, streaks, badges and a leaderboard for signed-in users

SQLab Hub is 100% free to use. There is no paid plan and nothing is sold on the site. It is supported by advertising.

The platform is for learning and practice. It does not connect to or run queries against any real production database.

You agree to use SQLab Hub only for lawful, educational purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to execute malicious, harmful, or illegal SQL queries
• Try to exploit, crash, or disrupt the platform or its sandbox engine
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the platform without permission
• Use the platform to train AI models or build competing services without written consent
• Share, sell, or sublicense access to your account
• Impersonate another user or the operator of SQLab Hub
• Click ads repeatedly, or use any automated means to load pages or ads, in order to generate ad impressions or clicks
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or security controls

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate registration information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@sqlabhub.com

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at our discretion, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate any part of these Terms
• Engage in conduct harmful to the platform or other users
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Provide false registration information

Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. Any past purchase is handled as set out in the Refund Policy.

Using SQLab Hub costs nothing, and we will not ask you for payment details.

Past purchases. SQLab Hub previously sold a Premium subscription and an ebook. Neither is on sale any more, and everything Premium unlocked is now free. If you still have an active subscription from that time, you can cancel it from your profile page or by emailing support@sqlabhub.com, and no further renewals will be charged. Refunds for past purchases are covered by the Refund Policy.

Lessons and answers are written to be accurate, and runnable examples are executed against the practice database, but mistakes are possible and SQL behaves differently between database systems. Check anything important against your own database's documentation.

A certificate from a skill test records that an account passed that test on this site. It is not an accredited qualification.

Pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are chosen by Google and its partners, not by us, and an ad appearing on the site is not an endorsement. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out of personalised ads, is described in the Privacy Policy.

All content on SQLab Hub — including the platform design, challenges, blog content, and code — is owned by the operator of SQLab Hub and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or repurpose any content without express written permission.

SQL queries you write in the editor remain yours. By submitting them to our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process them solely to deliver the service.

The service is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available
• The accuracy or completeness of any educational content
• That use of this platform will result in job placement, interview success, or any particular outcome
• That the SQL sandbox perfectly replicates all production database behaviours

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SQLab Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of opportunity, or service interruptions.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will indicate the update by revising the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. International users agree to comply with their local laws when using this platform.
